MAPC 2024 From The Ashes: Conference Exchange Portfolio

When Registering for the conference you can sign up to be a part of the 2024 MAPC: From The Ashes Members Exchange Portfolio and Exhibition!

Conference Exchange Portfolio is an exciting opportunity for all MAPC conference attendees. Members must sign up during registration.

Here's how it works: Participants create an edition of prints and drop it off during the first half of the conference. At the end of the conference, participants receive an exchange portfolio containing 10 prints to take home. During the conference, the prints are displayed at the Conference Exchange Portfolio Exhibition in the Grand Ballroom. Two editions of your work from this Member Exchange will become part of the permanent collection of Kansas State University and the Mid America Print Council.
Here are some additional details:

The paper size for your prints must be 11" x 14", and be archival.

Your edition must be interleaved with glassine or equivalent archival protective sheets (also 11" x 14").

Your edition should consist of a total of 12 prints, numbered 1/12, 2/12, 3/12 and so on.

Exchange Portfolio Drop off Times during Registration:

Wednesday October 2- Thursday Oct 3rd.

Exchange Portfolio Exhibition Details:

Grand Ballroom Gallery, K-State Student Union Grand Ballroom.

Friday 12:45pm- Sunday 10am.

Exchange Portfolio Pick Up Times at Registration Desk:

Friday 12:45pm-4:15pm

Saturday 8-12pm
